Our Mission: To enhance and promote the unique character and experience of Breckenridge as a world-renowned destination resort and to represent, serve and perpetuate the common interest and character of our community.
‘One Breckenridge’ is Breckenridge’s town-wide guest service training program. We believe that a culture of guest service needs to start with one local at a time. One Breckenridge serves as the umbrella organization that includes: Guest Service Champion and Guest Service Influencer trainings, seasonal Breck 101 experiential trainings, and the Nominate a Champion program recognizing outstanding service performed in the community. Throughout the year, Breckenridge employees have an opportunity to participate in Guest Service Champion (GSC) and Guest Service Influencer (GSI) training programs, where they not only learn the fundamentals of providing the best customer service, but how to teach these skills as well. GSC is a budget-friendly course for your front-line staff to learn communication tactics and familiarize new residents with all that Breckenridge has to offer through a retail scavenger hunt. GSI is a more in-depth option available for anyone who will be supervising, managing, or training your employees. The theory is, each GSI graduate will be able to go out into the community and teach these skills to other employees, making a town-wide culture of excellent guest service.

Every month, One Breckenridge recognizes individuals and businesses for providing exceptional guest service. Winners are treated to breakfast and a prize package. Each year, the committee selects one business that exemplifies the values of the One Breckenridge program to be recognized as the Annual Champion at the Breckenridge Tourism Office Annual Meeting.

In 2017, the Breckenridge Tourism Office launched the seasonal pilot program of Breck 101. The experiential guest-service training program offers activity outings, fine dining experiences, spa services, lodging tours, and a retail scavenger hunt to Breckenridge’s most guest-facing employees. The sole mission of the program is to better familiarize Breckenridge’s guest service workers with the recommendations they’re asked to give every day. More importantly, the program provides these employees the tools to make the right recommendation for the right guest to ensure the highest guest satisfaction and likelihood to return.
